Players Michael Payne, Santo Defranco, and TJ Mendoza helped team Landon’s Rockin Walkers raise $795 during a Diabetes Awareness Day hosted by the Toro Bulls in Salinas.
These boys took it upon themselves to make their own signs and made their way around the football stadium selling sneakers and collecting donations. By the end of the day, the wall behind Landon’s Rockin Walkers booth was covered with paper JDRF sneakers!
All 3 teams that played on September 25 wore a blue sock in support of Diabetes Awareness.
